PCE Ltd. delivered a multi-functional building for Volkswagen, which  is a 15,468m2 structure. It is a suspended four-storey facility with a service centre at ground floor, a showroom at first and second floors, offices, as well as 7300m² of car parking over four suspended levels.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown LexIcon Library

This library building, the result of a two-stage international competition held in 2007 by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, exemplifies this design exemplar and offers a mix of intimate and expansive public rooms, places to congregate or to sit quietly with a book and enjoy the view.

Marexhe & Herstal Railway Station

This is a global project that included the construction of a new building for the station, reorganisation of the public space and pedestrian link, the rehabilitation of several streets and a private housing development. The project also includes the refurbishment of a park containing urban vegetable gardens for the inhabitants of the city.

Brede School Zuidhorn

Brede School Zuidhorn is a community school used for primary education (public and private), after-school care activities, sports, physical therapy and facilities for assisted living and working. During the design of the building, much attention has been paid to the different functions and to the different users of the building. The various program components are cleverly combined in a lens-shaped floor plan. Open spaces and squares connect the spaces and floors with each other.

Concrete floodgates in Amsterdam

The two floodgates of Sluis 124 in Amsterdam Oost IJburg are a world first. The structure consists of two steelfibe reinforced high strength concrete sliding doors, that glide across a film of water (hydro feet). Haitsma Beton produced the unique doors and transported on behalf of Schuurmans Betonbouw. The concrete doors are much cheeper due to lower construction costs and maintenance costs than the steel version would. The doors are ten centimeters thick and more than 6 metres long. They weigh approximately 14 tons each.

A concrete portrait of King Willem-Alexander

Each year in the Netherlands, the birthday of Queen Beatrix is celebrated on 30th of April. It's a national holiday, with everyone dressed in orange and celebrating with music and markets. Normally, the Royal family visits two Dutch towns to celebrate with the inhabitants of the village. In 2013, however, the announced visit of the Royal family was cancelled, due to a historic event: Queen Beatrix handed over the power to her son, Willem-Alexander. He was crowned king of the Netherlands on the 30th of April 2013.
